Sierra Access Coalition champions responsible use of public lands for the benefit of all forest users by educating and empowering its members to:
- Respect and conserve the natural environment
- Secure, protect, and expand shared forest access and use
- Work collaboratively with land managers and other forest users
- Educate the general public media, elected officials, and other decision makers on forest access issues
- Promote respect for private property
- Encourage appropriate enforcement of the law
